Hello!

Cynthia Yip is a New York–based UX designer and illustrator with over 8 years of experience creating thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences. Her work spans financial services projects, security solutions, and other complex digital products, where she specializes in clarifying complexity, shaping clear narratives, and designing experiences that help people feel confident using technology. Her practice is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and strong visual craft, with a focus on building scalable solutions that balance user needs with business and technical constraints.

Outside of her professional work, Cynthia is an illustrator in New York City and is actively involved in charitable and community-driven projects. She is the founder of Tiny Jars of Stars, a kindness-driven creative initiative rooted in the belief that small, intentional moments can create meaningful impact. This perspective deeply informs her design approach, blending systems thinking with empathy and attention to detail to create thoughtful, human-centered experiences.
